This customer also had plenty of length in their natural lashes,
so rather than making the curl too dramatic,
we focused on arranging the overall direction upward so the hidden length would show better.
When the eyes are open, the lashes lift neatly from the roots,
but from the side, we made sure the ends wouldn’t bend or fold inward.
We connected the curl softly.
An eyelash perm is more about how naturally the lashes are lifted than about how strongly they are raised.
Even if lashes are the same length,
if they point downward, they can look shorter from the front than they really are.
On the other hand, if the direction is set well,
your natural lashes show much better without having to layer on mascara several times.
That’s why at FORET SEOUL, instead of always creating a strong curl,
we check the lash length, growth direction, and how much is visible when the eyes are open before deciding on the design.
