Why is lip neutralization done first?
Lip blush is not simply a procedure that adds the color you want onto the lips
Because everyone has a different natural lip base color, the final visible result can vary even when the same pigment is used
In particular, when the overall lip tone is dark or there is a large color difference between the inner and outer lips, it can be difficult to express only the desired color right away without considering the existing base
That is why at Fore Seoul, we first check the current lip tone together with the desired result, and proceed with neutralization first if needed
The color right after neutralization is not the final result
What you see in the photos and videos is the state immediately after the neutralization procedure, captured with unretouched, No Filter
Right after the procedure, it may look more vivid or brighter than the color that will actually settle in, and the color changes as the healing process continues
So rather than judging the final lip color from the immediate result alone, it is necessary to check the remaining lip tone after it has healed sufficiently
After healing, once the base has settled to some extent, the next procedure can be done in the direction of expressing the desired lip color
Natural is better than forcing a big change all at once
What Fore Seoul values most is
not simply making the lips brighter, but creating lips that blend naturally with the face
so the lips do not stand out awkwardly even without makeup
and the overall lip tone looks cleaner and more even
We will consult on the treatment direction to match your natural lip color, skin tone, and desired mood 🤍
If you are considering lip blush because of dark lips or uneven lip tone, we recommend first consulting about what process your current lip condition needs rather than just choosing a color and visiting ✨
