The doctor’s way of speaking was so gentle and comforting.
I was relieved to know that even the really minor things I mentioned to the Japanese counselor were properly conveyed to the doctor, and that everything I said in detail was being translated and passed along. After the surgery, I was in pain and it was difficult, but the swelling has gone down safely, and I’m happy that my nose and eyes turned out just as I wanted.
I had my stitches removed at a plastic surgery clinic in Japan, and the doctor was surprised, saying they were sewn up very carefully and that the scars looked beautiful.
