AT THE CENTER OF YOUR FACE The nose sets the tone of your face
Sitting at the very center, the nose shapes how the whole face reads โ soft or sharp, flat or defined. We look at facial proportion, skin thickness and the line from forehead to lips to plan a nose that fits you, not a template.

FIND YOUR NOSE TYPE Six nose types, six different plans
| Type Number | Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 01 | Low Nose | Flat bridge & tip |
| 02 | Hooked Nose | Bump on the bridge |
| 03 | Bulbous Nose | Wide, round tip |
| 04 | Long / Drooping Tip | Tip points downward |
| 05 | Upturned / Short | Visible nostrils |
| 06 | Deviated Nose | Off-center line |
Type 01 Low Nose (~1 hr)
When the line from forehead to nose isn't smooth, the center of the face looks flat and the impression plain.
Both the bridge and the tip sit low, so the face lacks depth. After checking proportion, skin thickness and the forehead-to-lip line, space is created and an implant with your own cartilage builds a natural, refined profile.
- The face looks flat because bridge and tip are low
- You'd like a natural first change, not an extreme one
- You want a cleaner, more defined look
Type 02 Hooked Nose (~1.5 hr)
A bump in the middle of the bridge stands out in profile and can make the face look sharp or strong.
Only as much of the projecting cartilage and bone as needed is trimmed to smooth the bend. Depending on the case, height is restored with an implant or your own cartilage, and severe cases are combined with nasal bone correction.
- The bridge bump stands out from the side
- Your profile looks harsher than your front view
- The side line bothers you in photos
Type 03 Bulbous Nose (~1.5 hr)
A round, wide tip and flared nostrils can make the face look heavy from the front.
Depending on the cause, spread tip cartilage is gathered, thick soft tissue is trimmed with cartilage support, or alar cartilage is reduced โ while keeping left-right balance and avoiding an over-narrow tip.
- Nostrils flare and the nose center looks wide
- The tip looks blunt or heavy
- The nose widens noticeably when you smile
Type 04 Long / Drooping Tip (~2 hr)
A tip that drops downward can make the area around the mouth look heavy, tired or older.
After finding why the tip is pulled down, length, angle and support are adjusted together โ trimming the lower septal cartilage or repositioning the tip cartilage, with added support so the tip doesn't drop again.
- The tip hangs long and the face looks longer
- The tip drops further when you smile
- The nose length makes the mid-face feel heavy
Type 05 Upturned / Short Nose (~2 hr)
A tip that turns up shows the nostrils from the front and can make the whole impression look strong.
The tip cartilage is repositioned downward, or your own tissue such as septal cartilage is grafted to add length and support. When needed, tip correction and bridge augmentation are combined for a balanced line from bridge to tip.
- Nostrils are very visible from the front
- The nose is short and facial proportion feels off
- Bridge and tip don't connect naturally
Type 06 Deviated Nose (~2 hr)
A bridge or tip leaning to one side shifts the center line of the face โ and can bring functional discomfort.
We check the cause and degree of the deviation, the septum and left-right balance, then correct toward a straight, stable center line โ whether the septum curves in a C, an S, or diagonally from top to tip.
- The nose center leans and facial balance looks off
- You rely on makeup or photo edits to hide the curve
- The asymmetry shows more when you smile
